The Mature Edition is a joyful, welcoming acting class for active seniors who want to:
✔ Connect with others
✔ Keep their minds sharp
✔ Explore creativity
✔ Laugh a lot!
Whether you’re completely new to acting or have years of experience, this class is non-competitive, non-intimidating and fun-focused.
What Happens in Class?
We sit in a circle and play engaging drama games that challenge us creatively and connect us socially.
Every week is different — some sessions include:
• Improvisation & storytelling
• Drama games & warm-ups
• Working with scripts, poems or stories
• Voice and physicality exercises
• Creating original scenes together
No pressure, no performances (unless we want to!). Every voice is valued, and everyone is encouraged to contribute in their own way.
Meet Your Teacher
Alicia Zorković is a local actor, director, and beloved acting teacher with nearly 20 years' experience. After a career teaching young people, Alicia brings her warmth, humour, and inclusive style to active retirees – tailoring each session to suit the group. She believes in gentle encouragement, individual attention, and above all, fun.
